
![]() We welcome to the newest member of the lab, Ajami Gikandi! Ajami will be working as a Research Technician in order to support our ongoing work on pancreatic cancer. Ajami recently graduated from Connecticut College with a major in Biochemistry, Cellular and Molecular Biology where he was also a star soccer player, winning the Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholar Award and earning NESAC All-Academic Team honors. His most recent lab experience was interning in the lab of Dr. Elda Grabocka at the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center of Thomas Jefferson University where he assisted in work in the Grabocka lab on the role of stress adaptation mechanisms in RAS-driven cancers.
