Autophagy Day at Brandeis University

The Mancias Lab visits Brandeis University for a day long symposium on Autophagy hosted by Dr. Jim Haber at Brandeis University. Joe presented his work on selective autophagy in pancreatic cancer and the Mancias Lab future directions. We enjoyed hearing talks from the Baehrecke Lab, Haber Lab, and Harper Lab. Thanks to the Haber Lab and Vinay Eapen for organizing (former graduate student in the Haber Lab now a post-doctoral fellow in the Mancias and Harper Labs)!

Joe is now a member of the Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center (DF/HCC), a National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer center combining the expertise of seven Boston academic medical institutions and schools: Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston Children’s Hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital, the Harvard Medical School, and the Harvard T.H.
